In order to accommodate those who are involved in the Chingay, Saturday practices are shifted to Fridays instead. Those who have problems regarding this, please inform me as soon as possible. Timing is from 6 to 9 as usual- Ridwan

:NEA Performers!
This is for those who are performing on this coming Saturday, please report at 230pm at the band room. Attire would be black formal wear and black jeans and black shoes. Those samba performers report to the band at 130pm. We are going to do the blindfold so please don't forget to bring your blindfolds.

:Finally...
The post concert dinner would be on this Tuesday, 730pm outside band room. Help me spread the message to the year 3s, year 2s and year 1s. Basically, just spread the damn message araound.Anyways, those who are performing on this coming Wednesday for the NYP Campus Road Run, we will practice our Lids, Bailando and Mo Java first at 6pm. Then we go and eat. So better be early, or we'll eat into our eating time. Get it? Eat into our Eating Time? lol.
Anyways, those who need excuse letter for that day, please inform me by tmr by sms or call me. As you know, i will not be going for the main band oreadi, so you have to tell me either by sms or calling me.
On the actual day of performance, we will report at the band room at 4pm as we will need to standby at the performance area at 540pm. Attire will be confirmed again later.

:MORE UPDATES....
Sadly, our post concert dinner is yet postpone to another day, next Tuesday, 18 November 2008. Don't ask any questions why. Cause i don't care. Anyways, on a lighter note, good job to all the year 1s, (including Sze Hou, who is NOT a year 1.haha) for todays splendid performance, especially Lids. Great energy. Great presentation. And not forgetting, great smiles.! Keep it up.Anyways, this friday, those who are performing on the 22 and 23 November, you guys are to report to the band room at 6pm this coming friday, 14 November because the NEA people are coming to view our Lids and welcoming samba item. I seek your cooperation to please please please be early so that they won't have to wait for all of us.

:Update on performance on 15 Nov, Saturday
Hey guys, this saturday, 15th Nov we have a performance. I will put the forwarded email below. Read it. Understand it. And tell me whether you are performing or not. Either through sms, tag board, call me, msn, snail mail, aka. letter, email, send message through pigeon. Haha.ANYWAY, hope to hear from you all soon. Those year 1s performing on Wednesday, tmr, tuesday, 11 Nov, got practice at 6pm. Compulsory for all year 1s.

"Please be informed that the Tanglin-Cairnhill CCC & GROs will be collaborating with NEA and public waste collector, Veolia ES Singapore Pte Ltd in organising Tanglin-Cairnhill Recycling Day 2008 on Saturday, 15 Nov 2008 from 9.00am to 5.00pm at the open car park near Blk 123 Bukit Merah View. .
To add flavour to the event, the Organising Committee would like to seek your kind assistance in arranging a percussion group using recycled materials to welcome Guest-of-Honour at 12.30pm and to do the Opening Performance on stage. Looking forward to your favourable reply. Thanks.

:Updates
Hey percussion ensemble. Post concert dinner is now confirm on the 14 of Nov, which is this coming friday. Hope everyone can turn up. All new members are also invited. Venue is yet to be confirmed but its most probably at the rooms at Block E 3rd level. Dennis is ordering KFC and Pizza Hut.Another thing, 15 Nov, Saturday, Dennis wants the whole percussion ensemble to be on standby because we maybe have to perform for some ministers again. We are only going to play lids. He said that nowadays, we have connections with government associations and clubs and so, we should be proud of ourselves.
Last note, i'm very happy with all of us who have always been performing and i know that we are all super tired, hell, i'm dying over here with all the matters to take care. I truly appreciated those who are always attending practices and performing and not even complaining about it. Keep on this spirit.!! (what a lame ending sentence la)
